‘The Truth’ is the latest poem by Sigrid Kingma as the Poet of Fryslân. Also available today in the Friesch Dagblad, the Leeuwarder Courant and on the Omrop Fryslân website.

The poem was written in response to the current stalemate in the CO2-crisis. The Poet of Fryslân, Sigrid Kingma: ‘Stakeholders oppose each other while the cow is used as a book of sin. Seems like a stalemate. Sometimes a problem requires creative thinking. What does the cow want? Wouldn’t that be a step forward?’
