The Poet laureate of Fryslân, Arjan Hut: “I have no illusion that someone can exchange screen time for ‘more poetry’ with a slogan or a poem. The title is also addressed to myself – do I want to spend so many hours of my time in the limited space of a screen? Even though my brain screams, do it, do it? Doing more together, being, instead of each in their own algorithm bubble, I think it’s worth a try. The text of this poem is made up of titles I saw in a second hand books store.”
