Today the national Poetry Week starts with the National Poetry Day. Nyk de Vries, Poet of Fryslân, wrote the poem “Uncertain“. For the lovers of poetry in the Netherlands and Flanders, various activities are launched this week.

The week starts with Poetry Day. Other highlights in the Poetry Week are: the Grote Startshow in Antwerp, the NK Poetry Slam, the Turing Poetry Contest and the Awater Poetry Prize.
