This poem was written for the project ‘Fryslân from above’ and was written on the beaches of the four Frisian Wadden Islands. For two weeks, drones flew over the province every working day to film the messages and the people. The images were broadcasted on Omrop Fryslân, at the Leeuwarder Courant and on the Facebook page of LF2028. ‘Fryslân fan Boppen’ is an initiative of LF2028, the Frisian municipalities and the province of Fryslân in collaboration with Omrop Fryslân and the Leeuwarder Courant.
