Poetry film ‘How Will Tomorrow Go?’ by the Poet of Fryslân premiered on Omrop Fryslân TV

This Sunday, December 20, the second of a series of short poetry films by Nyk de Vries as Poet of Fryslân will premiere. The broadcast on Omrop Fryslân TV is at 5:50 PM for Fryslân Dok. In the project with filmmaker Herman Zeilstra seven poems by the Poet of Fryslân will be filmed.

The second poetry film is based on the Christmas poem ‘How Will Tomorrow Go?‘. The poetry films can also be viewed online on the website of the Poet van Fryslân project, Leeuwarden City of Literature, LF2028 and Omrop Fryslân.

Arjan Hut (Drachten, 1976) was officially appointed as the new Poet of Fryslân by deputy Eke Folkerts today at the Explore the North festival in Leeuwarden. The appointment is for two years. Arjan Hut is the fourth Poet Fan of Fryslân and the successor to Sigrid Kingma.
